‘So these are basically the main reasons as to why I’m doing/have been doing this project since 2013 :

  • a strong interest in musical composition, instrumental application/experimentation and song craft

  • a desire to explore different musical avenues

  • a desire to demonstrate some type of evolution to CHANGELINGS’ repertoire

  • a slight interest to study the going-ons and random occurrences of everyday life, and what it means to be human in the 21st century in some of CHANGELINGS’ songs

This music project doesn’t really have:

  • a single musical brand

  • a particular target demographic

  • a tangible, stylistic look/image/appearance (relinquished as of 2019)

As mentioned in the introduction of this website, it is advised that patrons and listeners view CHANGELINGS as being just a creative music project, as this could almost be likened to the collected works of a painter or author’.
